Varied options are offered, for anyone who wants to stay in this friendly town. Diverse restaurants and cafés are situated all over Selfoss, along with various kinds of shops. Furthermore, the town has an outdoor swimming pool with sauna and hot tubs. North of Selfoss, the woodland of Hellisskógur can be found with interesting footpaths alongside Ölfusá river.
